Subscription Update Obituary

     Irene V. (Dupuis) Morgan of Millbury died on Sunday, September 2, 2012, in University of Massachusetts Hospital, Worcester, after a long illness.
She leaves two children: Maureen L. Smith and her husband, Brian M. Smith, of Millbury, and James R. Morgan, Jr., and his longtime friend, Joseph Altman, of Fitchburg; two grandchildren: Patrick J. Morgan and Statia E. Morgan-Kamyck, both of Millbury; two sisters: Barbara L. Roaf of Manchaug and Veronica M. Beard of Millbury; a brother, Leo P. Dupuis of Belmont, NH; her lifelong friend and the father of her children, James R. “JP” Morgan, Sr., of Millbury; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, Harvey C.A. and Eva L. (St.Germain) Dupuis, a brother, Clarence H. Dupuis, and her beloved 16 year old “granddog”, Sadie Marie Morgan.
Born in Worcester on April 23, 1941, Mrs. Morgan was a lifelong resident of Millbury where she was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Parish. She attended Worcester Girls Trade High School. She worked for 28 years as a machine operator at National Envelope Co., Worcester, before an injury forced her to retire in 1990. She loved cooking and sharing food with everyone.
Her funeral will be Thursday, September 6, from Turgeon Funeral Home, 56 Main St., with a Funeral Mass at 9:30 A.M. in St. Brigid Catholic Church, 59 Main St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday, September 5, from 5 to 8 P.M.
