Iona D. (Rivers) Lamothe, 87, of Lincoln Hill Manor died Wednesday February 13, 2019 at Southbridge Rehab and Health Care in Southbridge.
She was the wife of Emile F. Lamothe who died in 2008. She leaves 6 children Ramona Evans of Spencer, Rosemary Bruso, Brenda Deome, Christine Buzzell of North Brookfield, Francis Lamothe of East Brookfield, Henry Lamothe of Newport News VA; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a brother Robert Rivers of Spencer; 5 sisters Beverly Gagliardi of Southbrudge Rehab., Ida Lizak of Warren, Cece Dufault of Daytona FL., Harriet Moore and MaryJane Alexander of Auburn; many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Lawrence, MA the daughter of Wilfred and Harriet (Viets) Rivers. Iona worked at Dienes Corporation in Spencer for many years before retirement.
Graveside services will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Iona Lamothe to: Venture 11 Snell St. Sturbridge MA. Pillsbury Funeral Home 44 Gilbert St. North Brookfield is directing arrangements.
