Subscription Update Obituary

     H. Kurt Krull of Leicester died Monday, July 1, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital
In Worcester after an illness.
     He leaves his wife, Cynthia (Bourget) Krull; five children, Kurt, Michael, Kristina, Maria and Kelly A. Krull, all of Leicester; four brothers, Robert, Roger, Glen and Brad Krull, a sister Ann Clark, and many nieces and nephews. His son Daniel Krull died in 1994.
     Kurt was born in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Army. His military service included a tour of duty with peacekeeping forces in South Korea after the Korean War.
     Kurt moved to the Worcester area in the 1960’s and has lived in Leicester for more than 25 years.
     Kurt was a certified master truck technician, and was a mechanic for area truck dealers for many years. He also operated his own truck repair business for many years. He was a call firefighter for the Town of Spencer.
     Kurt enjoyed NASCAR and deep sea fishing. He liked country music, and played the steel guitar.
     Kurt was a devoted husband and father, and he was very proud of the accomplishments of his children.
     Kurt’s family thanks Dr. Putcha Murthy, and the staffs at St. Vincent Hospital cancer unit and VNA Healthcare Network, especially Stacey, Michelle and Candy, for the skilled and compassionate care he received in recent years.
     Calling hours at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, are Friday, July 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, July 6 from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
