Subscription Update Obituary

     Helen M. (Paquette) Miller, 80, of Worcester, died, Friday, July 15, 2016 at the St. Mary Health Care Center.

Her husband of 45 years, William J. Miller, died in 1999.

She leaves three daughters, Rhonda Miller of Worcester, with whom she lived, Marlene Rafus and her husband Michael of Shrewsbury, and Kathleen McKinnon and her husband James of Worcester; a son, David Miller of Calif.; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren with a fourteenth expected in August; and many nieces and nephews.

Helen was the daughter of Anthony and Mary (Phelan) Paquette, and lived in Worcester all her life.

Helen was an information systems clerk at Hahnemann Hospital for many years.

She was a longtime member of St. Bernard’s Parish, now Our Lady of Providence Parish.

Helen was devoted to her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was an avid Red Sox fan and loved visiting casinos. She was also an animal lover, and cared especially for Dezi and Bella.

Calling hours are Wednesday, July 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral will be Thursday, July 21, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Bernard’s Church, 228 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
