Subscription Update Obituary

     Harry D. Hemingway, 16, of 29 Laurel St., was killed Friday night in a one-car crash on Coburn Avenue. He was a passenger in the car.

He leaves his father, Harry D. Burgos from Edgewater, Fla., his mother Karen A. Hemingway; a twin brother Jose Miguel Hemingway; three sisters, Melissa C. and Sarah A. Hemingway, and Serena M. Laythe, all of Worcester; his paternal grandparents, Kleber and Yolanda Burgos of Worcester; his maternal grandfather, Nelson Hemingway of Calais, Maine; his maternal grandmother, Claire E.A. (Leclair) Sanchez of Worcester; his maternal great-grandmother, Clara J. (Hayes) Leclair of Marlboro; a nephew, Kevin A. Hemingway, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was born in Worcester and lived here all his life.

Harry would have been a junior at North High School in the fall.

He was an avid basketball, handball, and tennis player, and lifted weights at the YMCA.

The funeral will be held Wednesday from O’Connor Brothers, 592 Park Ave., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 43 Belmont St.  Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made instead to the Hemingway Family Trust Fund, care of Shawmut Worcester County Bank, 446 Main St., Worcester, 01608.

Pallbearers will be Harold R. Booth, Mark W. Cusson, Edwardo Santana, Joseph D. Thompson Jr., Alberto A. Gomez and Richard K. Vinton.
