Gloria R. Wright 97 of Millbury died peacefully on August 4, 2021 at Care One in Millbury.  Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Marianna (Livisi) Pingeton and graduated from Classical High School.  Gloria was predeceased by her husband Edwin P. Wright, and her brother Robert Pingeton.

Gloria leaves her family, daughter Diane Wright, with whom she lived. Daughter Patricia Wright & Margaret Smith, and son Timothy & Denise Wright. Her sisters Mary Clark and Kathryn Pingeton. Grandsons Adam P. Wright and his wife Ellyn Schmalzer, and Alexander P. Wright. She leaves many beloved nieces and nephews. And Daisy.

Gloria worked for Worcester County Institute for Savings retiring in 1986.  Gloria was an accomplished pianist, and her love of classical music will be a legacy, cherished by her family for generations.

The family would like to thank the staff at Care One, especially Joe, for all their incredible care and support.  She wasn’t there long but she was cared for like family.

The family would also like to thank the Millbury Fire and Police.  Thank you for your patience and care. She loved all of you.

Funeral services for Gloria will be held at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Worcester, Ma 01605.  Calling hours will be on Thursday August 12, 2021 from 10am to 12 noon.  A funeral service will begin at 12 noon followed by a procession to Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton for internment.
