Gloria B. (Zetterman) Leon, 81, of Leicester died Friday, July 9, 2010 in the Christopher House.
She leaves her husband of 58 years, Leo T. Leon; two daughters, Marcia L. Blanchard and her husband, Matthew C. of Leicester and Sandra D. Leon of North Brookfield; four brothers, Clifford “Buddy” Zetterman of Caribou, ME, Gordon Zetterman and his wife, Elfrida of New Sweden, ME, Ansel Zetterman of Carmel, ME, and Carroll Zetterman and his wife, Viola of Connor, ME; four sisters, Brenda Morin and her friend, David Cochran of Woodland, ME, Carolyn Stark and her husband Leo of Shakopee, MN, Marcella Schoville and her husband Bob of Terryville, CT, Madeline Dufour and her husband Roy of Sutton, VT; a sister-in-law, Joyce Zetterman of St. Agatha, ME; three grandchildren, Laura Blanchard, Matthew C. Blanchard, Jr. and Marc Blanchard and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Glenn Zetterman.
She was born in New Sweden, Maine the daughter of Aleck and Minnie (Landeen) Zetterman. Gloria was a long time member of the former Saint John’s Episcopal Church. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. Gloria worked at Blanchard Foods in the kitchen for many years.
The funeral is Tuesday, July 13th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 2:00 PM in All Saints Church, 10 Irving Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, July 12th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
