Gillian (Terry)(Sulski) Peckham,79, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at home enjoying her garden. She was born on April 30, 1942 in Shoreham Sussex, England the daughter of the late Jack & Evelyn (Hornsby) Terry and came to the United States in 1965. She was a member of Master Singers of Worcester and sang in many concerts, she sang in the choir at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Worcester and was a member & 2nd President of the Holly Collage Women’s Club. Gillian met her most devoted husband while singing in the choir at St. Luke’s Church in 1992. They married shortly after and moved to Charles home in (Jefferson) Holden, MA and lived there for 20 years before finally settling in Hardwick. One of Gillian’s most memorable experiences was her honeymoon with her husband Charles and shorty after visiting her homeland of England. She and her husband met and visited with her sisters and relatives at a family reunion in honor of her visit. They also met with distant English relatives at Dorsett, England. Gillian is survived by her husband of 29 years Charles “Chuck” Peckham, 3 sons Peter Sulski & his wife Anita of Lexington, MA, John Sulski & his wife Kerry of NYC, Michael “Phobrek” of Worcester, MA; 3 grandchildren Jemelah, Aalam & Kasmir Sulski; a stepdaughter Karen Roseen; 3 step granddaughters Sarah Roseen, Makyla Peckham & Lillian Peckham and a sister Ann Terry of Sussex, England. She is predeceased by her sister Pat Terry and her first husband Leonard Sulski. Gillian worked as a secretary for two different law firms and later worked as a home care specialist. During her retirement, Gillian got into her real passion of English gardening. Gillian was a very caring person, always caring about other people’s well being and she charmed everyone she met with her soft English accent. Besides tending her gardens her other passion was photography. The funeral for Gillian will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11AM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S. Barre Rd., Barre. A calling hour will be held from 10-11AM prior to the service. Burial will be private for the family.
