(Elmes) Bailey; two daughters, Deborah Unczur and her husband, Gregory of Danvers and Rebekah Jones and her husband, Jonathan of Worcester; and three grandchildren, Timothy, Julie, and Sarah Unczur.

He was born in Winchendon, the son of Paul C. and Gladys (Doody) Bailey. Gerald had been employed as the dining room manager at Holy Cross College for many years before retiring. He was an active and dedicated member of several local Masonic Lodges, including the West Boylston Lodge and the Joel H. Prouty Lodge, where he was a respected brother and leader. His contributions to the Masonic community were invaluable, and he served with great honor throughout his life. He also generously offered his wisdom and guidance as an advisor to the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, a position he held with pride for many years. Gerald was awarded the Joseph P. Warren Award by the Mason’s for his dedication, commitment and service demonstrated throughout the years. He was also a member of the Melha Shriners in Springfield. Outside of his Masonic duties, Gerald enjoyed a variety of hobbies, with a particular fondness for playing cards and cribbage. His competitive nature and his love of these games provided countless moments of laughter and camaraderie among his friends and family. His greatest joy was time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
