Subscription Update Obituary

     Gary N. Wilder, 63, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 12,2020 surrounded by his loving family after an illness. He leaves a daughter Leana Wilder and significant other Heath Squires of Rutland; 2 sons- Dale Wilder and wife Liz of Spencer and Kyle Wilder And significant other Bekie of Spencer 6 grandchildren; Alex Victoria Audrey Allyson Hunter and Josie, 2 sisters- Linda Daniel of Southbridge and Jennifer Kovac of Clinton; the mother of his children Elizabeth Wilder, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

Gary was born in Worcester, son of the late Howard and Ebba Wilder (Strand). He attended Wachusett Regional High School. He worked as a truck driver for NFI trucking for many years. He enjoyed driving his 80thousand pound 18 wheeler through NYC overnight while talking to his friend Peter. His passion was splitting wood and cooking for friends and family to come over to enjoy his lake house, where he always had an open door policy, especially for his grandchildren.

Gary’s family would like to thank Umass Oncology Department and Jewish hospice homecare.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 10 a.m. – 12 noon in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
