Gail B. (Robinson) Monroe, 72, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022 in UMass Memorial Hospital. She leaves her loving husband and best friend of 52 years, James Monroe; a brother, Gary Robinson and his wife, Lynne of Danvers; two nieces, Lauren Chapman and her husband, Dan, Jennifer LeBlanc and her husband, David; a nephew, Nicholas Robinson; an aunt, Norma Pizzo; several cousins; and her two cats who she loved, Mindy and Cindy.

She was born in Beverly, MA the daughter of John J. and Florence M. (Pizzo) Robinson. Gail graduated from the former St. Chretienne Academy in Salem in 1968 and then studied at Salem State University. Gail worked as a custodian for over 30 years at Worcester State University. Gail was a member of the Worcester/Auburn Elks club as well as the USS Davis DD937 Association. She loved to spend time with her family and was a very sweet woman. She will be greatly missed by many and loved by all.

Her funeral Mass is Tuesday, April 5th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, 1052 Pleasant Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 4th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory to UMass Memorial Health at https://www.ummhealth.org/umass-memorial-medical-center/giving. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family with arrangements.
