Subscription Update Obituary

     Fernand W. “Butch” Boucher, 86, of Worcester, died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Meadows Rehab and Nursing Center in Leicester after suffering a stroke.

     He leaves his wife Antoinette M. (DiPinto) Boucher; a son, Thomas Boucher of Worcester, three daughters, Roseline Agostinelli and her husband Michael of Worcester, Anne Marie Saksa and her husband Leonardo of Worcester, Mary Lupien and her husband Robert of Worcester; a brother, Raymond Boucher and his wife Martha of Leicester; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Four brothers, Regent, Albert, Lawrence, and Herman Boucher and a sister, Lucille Docri predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Paul and Elmire (Bourget) Boucher.

     Fernand was an office worker at Norton Company for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 201.

     The family would like to thank the staff at UMass and the Meadows of Leicester for their care and support during this difficult time.

     The funeral will be held Thursday, April 24 from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, with a 10:00 am Mass at Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday, April 23 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veteran’s Shelter, 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
