Forty years have passed, forty years of emotions and unanswered questions... Not a single day goes by that I do not feel your influence on my life (both the good ... and the not so good). This year, I learned more than I ever anticipated knowing. I truly appreciated that we were able to re-connect, even it was only for a brief moment. It is comforting to know that we persist, and that we have the ability to evolve. A son's love for his father never fades. This was an important lesson for me ... as I strive to provide my son with an example that will serve him well on his own journey through life. Forty years have passed, and I still miss you.

There is not a day that goes by that you are not in my thoughts.  I have always missed you...and look forward to the day we meet again.
