Subscription Update Obituary

     Ernest F. Boucher, 90, of Worcester, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 27th with his family by his side in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus.

Ernest is survived by his wife of 61 years, Annette M. (Brouillard) Boucher; three sons, Paul Boucher and his significant other, Kathy of Dudley, Ryan Boucher and his wife, Renee of Worcester and Gregory Boucher and his wife, Kimberly of Worcester; a sister, Rose-Marie McCluskey of Worcester; two brothers, Emile Boucher of Alabama and Charles Boucher of California; 3 grandchildren, Amy Boucher of Oxford, Joshua Boucher of Worcester and Dominica Boucher of Worcester and many nephews and nieces.

Mr. Boucher was born in Grafton, son of the late Emile and Stella (Thibeault) Boucher and is also predeceased by 2 brothers, Albert and Alfred and 4 sisters, Irene Boucher, Jeanne Vincellette, Rita LeBoeuf and Lorraine “Jo” Wilczyski.

Ernest proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War and later worked as a laborer with Local #243 LIUNA with 25 years in the field, spending many years with the former E. Whitehead Company. Mr. Boucher was a 50 year lifetime of LIUNA.

Mr. Boucher was still in a bowling league with his wife at Bayberry Lanes in Spencer and was an avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed watching his beloved Boston teams and any boxing match that he could find.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of UMass Memorial Medical Center for the care and support that was shown to the Boucher Family.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 1st at 10:30 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a calling hour prior from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will follow the service in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial contributions in memory of Ernest may be made to the American Lung Association 1661 Worcester Road #301 Framingham, MA 01701.
