Subscription Update Obituary

Edward E. Langevin, 75, of Worcester died Wednesday, September 13th at Odd Fellows home. He leaves a son, Edmund “Red” Langevin; a daughter, Doris Langevin; and a sister, Vivian Langevin all of Worcester. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 47 years, Carol (Chauncey) Langevin in 2017.

He was born in Worcester the son of Edmond E. and Bernadette (Aubin) Langevin. Ed was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam Era for three years and then joined the Air National Guard and retired after seventeen years. He also worked at the United States Postal Service for 25 years as a supervisor. Ed was very proud to be a veteran as he was dedicated to many local organizations such as: 313 Air National Guard Retired Association, DAV Chapter 4 Worcester, Tatnuck Post #288 American Legion, AWVA Chapter 299 Worcester, AMVETS Post #1391 Worcester, Worcester County Vietnam Era Veterans, 40&8 Society Voiture 1113, past National Americanism Committees, VFW Rochdale Post #7556, Vietnam Veterans of America, and VFW Post #3657. He was also a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.

His funeral will be held on Monday, September 18th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, with his funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 am in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. His visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17th from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm in the funeral home.
