Subscription Update Obituary

     Edna Mae (Mosley) Williams, 85, passed away on February 12, 2021 after succumbing to injuries sustained in a fire at her home.

She was born in Camden, South Carolina on February 26, 1935 a daughter of Edward Mosley and Lillian Hampton and lived in South Carolina before relocating to Worcester. For many years, Edna Mae was employed as a packaging clerk for the former Frem Corporation of Worcester.

Edna loved her family and believed in hard work and had a strong sense of community. She also loved to shop on the weekends.

She leaves behind her daughter, Lorraine S. (Salters) Adams; her son Timothy Prince both of Worcester, her grandchildren Latonya Adams, Shelisa Adams, Ramona Adams, Woodrow Adams Jr, Keith Adams, Sheranda Toney, Kenya Stevens, Kareem Tatum, Kiana Holley, Rashedah Tatum, Kadeem Prince, two Goddaughters, Stacey White and Joyce Edna Hampton, and a Godson, Robert Lee Evans, Jr. Edna also leaves many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Edna Mae was predeceased by her son Henry J. Prince, Jr. and her grandson Marcus Blakney. Her son, Gerald F. Prince and her son in law, Woodrow Adams Sr., also tragically died in the fire.

A public visitation will be held from 9:00am until 10:00am on Monday March 1, 2021 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church 929 Main Street Worcester, MA 01610. A funeral service will begin at 10:00am and burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
