A brother, Wilfrid Charbonneau and his wife Elizabeth of North Charleston, South Carolina, sisters in law Pauline Charbonneau of Worcester, Beverly Charbonneau of Auburn and Dottie Charbonneau of Oxford, and many nieces and nephews.

Dot graduated from Commerce High School in 1951 and worked for Norton Company before she devoted her time to her family, later working as a clerk and retiring from Bank of Boston.
