Doris F. (Wilcox) Beauregard, 85, of Worcester, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at UMass Memorial – University Campus after a brief illness.
Her husband of 41 years, Normand Beauregard, died in 1998. She leaves two sons, Stephen Beauregard and Kenneth Beauregard ; four daughters, Stephanie Beauregard, Sally Roy and her husband Eddie, Elaine Astrella and her husband Joe, and Maylene Beauregard; a brother, Robert Wilcox and his wife Eisha, two sisters, Joan Thurston and her husband Norm, and Emma Bushey, 21 grandchildren, Bryan, Jennifer, Isaac, Bethany, Nathan, Austin, Auburn, Nehimiah, Shaunan, Kirsti, Nicholas, Vincenzo, Lia, Kerri, Dominic, Lucio, Makayla, Emily, Bella, Elora Fae and Lexi; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Doris also leaves her son-in-law Bill Troy and her sister-in-law Barbara Wilcox. She is predeceased by a son Raymond Beauregard, a daughter Donna Troy, her granddaughter Olivia, a sister Carolyn Murphy, a brother Charles Wilcox, and a brother-in-law Don Murphy. She was born in Pittsfield, daughter of Charles and Emma (Dubiski) Wilcox. She graduated from Pittsfield High School.
Doris worked as a cashier and was also a healthcare worker and foster mother. She enjoyed reading, shopping, and music, and especially spending time with her family. She also thoroughly enjoyed her church community and time spent with her siblings and friends. She loved the ocean, mountains and her grand-dogs. She had a fondness for makeup and she liked her movie channel (TCM).
A graveside service will be private. A Celebration of Life for Doris will be held on Monday October 3, 2022 at 10:00 am at The Mill Church, 45 River St, Millbury. Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Benevolence Fund, C/O The Mill Church, 45 River Street, Millbury, MA 01527.
