Subscription Update Obituary

     Doris (Angers) Zuidema, 91, passed away peacefully in her home on January 9, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Zuidema, who died in 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Sanders; her son, Stephen Zuidema and his wife Valerie; three grandchildren, Nicole Renfro and her husband Christopher, Daniel Zuidema, and Shawn Sanders and his wife Carmel; her sister, Elaine Auger and her husband Roger. She was predeceased by two brothers, Leo Angers and Donald Angers. We would also like to thank some special people in her life, Virginia, Bob, Roger, Patty, and Tammy.

Doris and her husband Paul enjoyed camping at Welch’s Campground in Millbury many years ago, as well as traveling to the National Parks and Canadian Rockies.

Doris worked hard throughout her life at Holden Plastics in Worcester. She was a longtime resident of Oxford

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, January 13, 2020, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608.
