Donna Lee (Briggs) Morrison, born October 25, 1946, passed away on October 8, 2024, at her home in Holden, surrounded by her family.

Donna was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, to Frederick and Virginia Briggs. She attended Lynn Classical High School where she met the love of her life, Robert E. Morrison, Jr. The two were high school sweethearts and married in 1967 before embarking on a beautiful journey together.

Donna was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband and their beloved children, Robert Scott Morrison of Palm Coast, FL and Traci Eileen-Morrison Johnston of Keene, NH. She was also an immensely proud and loving grandmother to “the boys”, Connor Robert Johnston and Jack Robert Morrison. Donna was a woman deeply connected with her family. She cherished time spent with her loved ones, always providing love, guidance, and support. Her nurturing spirit and compassionate heart will live on in all who had the privilege to love her.

Beyond her personal life, Donna dedicated her career to the Wachusett Regional School District where she worked for thirty-nine years, committing much of her time to Special Education at the elementary level. Her kindness, patience, and unwavering dedication to her students left a meaningful impression on everyone who had the privilege to know her.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Virginia Briggs, and her brother, James Briggs.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 12 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
