    Dolores A. (Bourque) Buffone, 79 of Worcester passed away with her children by her side Wednesday, February 17th 2010 in the Christopher House.
    Dolores husband Armando A. Buffone passed away in 1993. She is survived by her three children, Steven M. Buffone and his wife Lisa of Worcester, Sandra L Roy and her husband Ronald of Sutton, Jo-Ann M. Correia and her husband Peter of Shrewsbury; a sister, Claire Bennett and her husband William of Worcester; a brother Leonard Bourque of California; four grandchildren, Armanda, Samantha, Mackenzie, and Lukas; nieces, nephews and friends. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Joseph A. and Alice (Kosminski) Bourque. She graduated from Commerce High and has lived here all her life.
    Dolores worked as a supervisor for the accounting department of Atena Life & Casualty before retiring. She previously worked as a transcriber for the Worcester Court House.
Dolores was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church, a former member of its leisure club and women’s guild. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, reading and golfing.
    The funeral will be held Saturday, February 20th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd. Burial will follow with her husband Armando in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. A period of calling hours will be held from 9 am to 10 am prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher House Activities, 10 Mary Scano Dr. or the Alzheimer’s Association of Massachusetts, – 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472
