Diana Marie Schofield, 80, of Spencer, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

She was predeceased by 8 days by her husband of 64 years Forrest W. Schofield Jr. She leaves 2 daughters, Lynn Cotter of North Brookfield, Kelly Knight and her husband Bob of Spencer; 2 grandsons, Scott Robinson Jr. and his wife Keri of North Carolina and Logan Lalonde of Spencer; 2 great grandsons Max & Milo Robinson; many nieces, nephews and her beloved horse Cody. She was predeceased by her 4 sisters Arline Hill, Betty Mason, Jenny Callihan, and Esther Noel and her parents Ralph and Alice Staples.

Diana grew up in Worcester and Auburn, where she met the “boy next door” who would become her husband of 64 years Skip Schofield.

Diana was an avid animal lover. She shared her home with many animals throughout her lifetime. Her favorite animals were her cat princess, her old english sheepdogs Jake and J.J., and her horses Sherry and Cody. Diana was a great horse woman and trainer. There was very little she did not know about horses and she was always willing and happy to share her knowledge with everyone around her. Those who knew Diana were blessed with her warm smile, quick wit, and warm heart.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 11AM in Worcester County Memorial Park Richards Ave. Paxton.

Arrangements are under the care of Pillsbury Funeral Home 163 Main St Spencer.
