Subscription Update Obituary

Diana C. Tetreault (Mrs. T.) was born in Worcester to Louis and Emma Brown. She lived with her husband Art at 169 West Mountain Street in Worcester for 41 years. She died peacefully, surrounded by those who loved her at Holy Trinity Lutheran Nursing Home in Worcester. Art and Diana were married for 68 wonderful years.

While Art served in the US Air Force for 23 ½ years, they traveled around the world, living in Germany (where they were married); Azores, Portugal; Savanah, Georgia; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Virginia Beach, Virginia; Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; and Lamar, Colorado; before returning to Worcester.

Diana was known affectionately as Mrs. T to hundreds of children around Worcester County. She worked at Adam’s Street Head Start from 1980-1982 and at Magic Years Pre School as a Day Care Teacher for 20 years. Diana and Arthur walked with Barbara’s Buddies in the Relay for Life in Worcester for 14 years.

Diana is survived by her children, Denise (McKenney), wife of James of Waterville, Valley, NH, Arthur Tetreault, Jr., husband of Keren of Australia, Sandra (Bradley), wife of Sammy of Floydada, TX, Dennis Tetreault of Seminole, FL, Andrew Tetreault, husband of Pattie of Winchester, VA, and daughter-in-law, Heather Tetreault of Gardner. She is predeceased by her son, Anthony Tetreault.

She had 16 grandchildren: James Paul McKenney, husband of Kristin, of Lunenburg; Tawnya (McKenney) Harding wife of Christopher, of Barre; Meghann (McKenney) Fasolino wife of John, of Medway; Alex Tetreault; Kelly Pilling, wife of Grant; Brett Nairn, husband of Maree; Rhys Nairn, husband of Tara; and Emma Tetreault, all of Australia; Ray Brigley of Worcester; Gryphon and Rowan Tetreault of Gardner; Joshua Bradley, husband of Katie, of OK; Jesalyn Becker, wife of Alston, of TX; Marcus Tetreault of CO; Amanda Emmons, wife of Mitchell, and Anita Tetreault of VA. She is predeceased by her granddaughter, Krista Tetreault.

She also had 25 great-grandchildren: William and Kate McKenney, of Lunenburg; Brandyn, Madisyn and Paityn Harding, of Barre; Johnny, Vivi, and Joey of Medway, Isabella Brigley of Worcester; Eleanor and Xavier Emmons, of VA; Jasper, Lilly, Allan, Jorja, Abigail, Campbell, Evie, Elissa, Henry and Ivy, of Australia; Ben and Finley Becker, of TX; Brooklyn and Boston Bradley of OK. She is predeceased by her great-grandson, Vinnie.

She is also survived by her brother, David Brown of Dracut and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, Joyce Best, Richard Brown and his wife Beverly, Ronald Brown and his wife, Gay, and sister-in-law, Carol Brown.

Diana loved bowling with Art. She also enjoyed gardening, particularly her morning glories and iris’. More than anything, Diana loved spending time with family.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for all they have done. The family would like to extend special gratitude to Aurelio Silva, LPN/Unit Manager and Mary Wiafe, Nurses Aid.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Diana’s family from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, October 25th, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A Mass and Christian Burial will take place at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 26th, at St. Christopher’s Church, 950 W. Boylston St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Diana Tetreault to Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 300 Barber Ave., Worcester, MA 01606.
