Debra L. (Wood) Russell, 63, of Worcester, died June 22, 2022 at home in her sleep.
Debra leaves her husband of 34 years, John E. Russell; her siblings, John Wood of Dracut, Daniel Wood of Lowell, and Suzanne Culbert of Manchester, N.H.; her siblings-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Debra was born in Lowell, daughter of Vincent and Pauline (Gagnon) Wood. After graduating from the Lowell public school system, she earned an associate’s degree in science of computers from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester.
Debra worked as a computer repair technician for Wang Computers in Lowell, where she met her husband. Debra and John have lived in Worcester ever since.
Debra’s funeral will be Tuesday, June 28, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. The Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, is directing arrangements.
