David W. McGibbon, 43, of 2 Hyatt Street, died Saturday, November 27th in St. Vincent Hospital after being stricken ill at home. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He leaves his wife of 20 years, Claire M. (Krus) McGibbon, son, David D., 3 daughters, Michelle A. and Cheyenne M., all at home and daughter Cynthia A. Langa of Fort Drum, NY and a grandson, Ryan Langa.
He was born in Worcester the son of David G. McGibbon and attended Worcester schools. David was an auto mechanic for most of his life and most recently was a truck driver and lead warehouse worker at Safety Kleen, Corp. He loved his Harley Davidson and enjoyed riding with his friends.
The funeral is Wednesday, December 1st from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a graveside service at 11:00 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 30th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
