Darlene was an animal lover and always had pets throughout her life. She was very creative, enjoyed drawing and had an extensive collection of dolls. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and her great laugh and big heart could fill the room.

Darlene will be missed by her 16 siblings; Ronald Perkins, Katherine Edmonds, Donna Simpson, Beverly Simpson, Harry Simpson, Michael Simpson, Debbie Charpentier, Michelle Simpson Hayes, Brenda Simpson, Robert Simpson, Richard Simpson, Larry Williams, Laurie Williams and Vicky Williams. She also leaves many nephews and nieces. A sister, Bernetta Young predeceased her in 2017.
