On October 15, 2022, Darlene Ann (Manzello) Villnave, 64, passed away unexpectedly at her home. Darlene was a beloved wife, mother of two children and grandmother of three. She was the heart and soul of her family.
Darlene was born and raised in Worcester MA and graduated from St. Peter’s C.C.H.S. Darlene met her husband, Brian, at the age of 12. They married in 1981 and had a bond that lasted over 41 years.
Darlene loved Boston sports, romance novels, and watching her grandkids play sports. She never missed one of their games no matter where or when it was. She loved playing barbies with her granddaughter and texting stories back and forth with her grandson. The thing she loved most was her grandchildren.
Darlene was predeceased by her mother, Marie A. (Burgess) Manzello and her father, Rocco G. Manzello and sister, Joan C. Manzello. She is survived by her husband, Brian E. Villnave of Rutland; one son, Jason E. Villnave and his wife, Lindsay A. of Jefferson; one daughter, Jessica L. Villnave of Worcester; three grandchildren, Rocco E., Luca A., and Stella C.; and three grand-puppies, Max, Bailey, and Baxter. Darlene is also survived by her aunt and uncle, Richard and Lenore Burgess; her cousins, Deborah Burgess and Richard Burgess and family; her mother-in-law, Geraldine Villnave; and brother-in-law, Mark Villnave.
The family welcomes all who knew and loved Darlene to attend Calling Hours that are scheduled for 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson with a burial to follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton.
