Subscription Update Obituary

Clarence C. Fanion, 92, of Charlton, died Monday, Sept. 26th. in UMASS Memorial-Lake Ave., Worcester.

He was the husband of Ruth E. (Pierce) Fanion who died in 2019. He leaves his sons; Joseph A. Fanion and his wife Carol of ElPaso, TX and Barry C. Fanion of Charlton, his daughter; Susan T. McConnell of Oxford, a sister Mary T. Fanion of Worcester, 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son James C. Fanion of 2020 and a daughter Linda M. Shiraka in 2016.

He was born in Worcester, the son of Clarence H. and Flora (Washburn) Fanion and graduated from Boys Trade in Worcester.

He was an inspector at Reed & Prince Mfg. in Worcester for 44 years, retiring in 1995.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 19th. at 11 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1120, Framingham, MA 01701.
