Subscription Update Obituary

Claire B. Harding, 72, surrounded by her loving family, passed peacefully into Heaven on March 3,2022 after a short illness.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years Philip Harding Sr; her three children Victoria Simonovitch & her husband Keith, Philip Harding Jr & his wife Lisa and Eric Harding & his wife Kristen. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren, Tobias and Elise Simonovitch, Sebastian, Bennett and Addison Harding.

Claire was a lifelong resident of Spencer. She was the oldest child and only daughter of the late Alfred Sr and Claire B (Gadbois) Perron. Sister to Arthur Perron, Gerald Perron & his wife Carol and Richard Perron & his wife Tina. A beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Alfred Perron, Jr.

Claire was a homemaker until her youngest son entered kindergarten. She was a secretary for 22 years with the Spencer school system. Claire enjoyed helping children while building long-lasting relationships. After retiring, she was the secretary of the First Congregational Church in Spencer for over 11 years. She put her heart and soul into the Economy shop which brought her joy and pride for many years.

A celebration of life for Claire will be held on Saturday, April 30,2022 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm in the American Legion 175 Main St. Spencer. A private graveside service will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Arrangements are under the care of Pillsbury Funeral Home 163 Main St. Spencer.
