Christopher Lee Collazo,41,passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 30th, 2022. He leaves many behind that loved him and will miss him dearly including his loving girlfriend of 12 years, Denise Lopez; three daughters, Jamilexs Collazo of Taunton, Yarelis and Ava Collazo, both of Worcester; his mother, Jeanette Mercado, of Worcester ; his father, Efrain Collazo, Sr. of Puerto Rico; his brother, Efrain Collazo, from Worcester; his brother and sister Efrain and Mairy Collazo both from Puerto Rico; his grandma, Juana Santiago, from Puerto Rico and many more aunts, cousins and friends. Christopher was predeceased by his cousin, Edgar Torres, his uncle, Louis Mercado, and his grandfather, Efrain Garcia.

Christopher was born January 27, 1981 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He then relocated to Worcester, MA, where over the years he created numerous friendships and memories with many. Christopher graduated from Doherty Memorial high school in 1999; and he later found his passion in the social services field and really enjoyed trying to help others.

In Chris’ free time, he enjoyed staying active, going camping with his family and friends, going on nature walks and putting on a good fashion show. More than anything, he cherished the time spent with his family.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Christopher’s life on Saturday, October 8th from 4-7pm at Callahan, Fay and Caswell Life Celebration Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. We kindly ask, if possible, for everyone in attendance to wear all black. Thank you.
