Christine Marie (Banfill) Dumphy, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Monday August 16, 2021 after being stricken ill at home.

Christine was born in Worcester, MA on August 29, 1962, daughter of the late David R. and Diane M. (Gaboury) Banfill; she worked as a cashier for the former Bradley’s Store for many years. Christine loved life and enjoyed taking many excursions to Hampton Beach; she adored horses, flowers, and painting, but most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her precious grandchildren, and of course she loved her “baby” Max.

Christine will be deeply missed by her husband David E. Dumphy; her four sons: Adam Dumphy and his spouse Kimberly of North Grosvenordale, CT, Matthew Dumphy and his companion Jacqueline Lippe of Webster, Joseph Dumphy of Oxford, and Joshua Dumphy of Oxford; her daughter Sarah Donato and her spouse Aaron of Bromford, RI; her brother Paul Banfill and his spouse Tetiana of Maryland;  her sister Cathy DeFazio and her spouse James of Maine; she also leaves her nine grandchildren as well as many dear friends and relatives.

All are welcome to gather with Christine’s family as they celebrate her life on Friday August 20, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.
