Subscription Update Obituary

     Charlotte D. Pageau-Pierce, 67, of Hudson, Florida, formerly of Worcester, died unexpectedly on Sunday April 12, 2015 at home. Her husband Frank Pageau, and her daughter Theresa Pageau predeceased her. Charlotte is survived by her loving sisters Elizabeth Loverro, and Caroline Peterson both of Worcester, a brother Joseph Pierce of California, two sisters in law, Donna Pageau and Mary Dion both of Ct. and her great nephew Michael J. Loverro Jr. whom she adored, several nephews, nieces, aunts and an uncle, also several cousins, among them a special cousin Elizabeth Desrosiers. She was born in Worcester daughter of the late Robert and Theresa (Mastrototaro) Pierce and lived in Worcester many years before she moved to Florida.

Charlotte was a graduate of Commerce High School, and also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies. She was a Vocational Rehabilitation Councilor at the Worcester State Hospital for over 40 years before she retired. Charlotte also owned and operated Nonni’s Restaurant on Hamilton Street for several years. She was also a past Treasurer of the Local # 137 Mass. State Employee’s union and was a former member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St. Ann.

Charlotte loved living in Florida. She was very active there with the Sons of Italy Organization in Spring Hill Florida, and was also a member of the Compassionate Friends of Florida. She enjoyed cooking, dancing and was always helping people in her community. However her most treasured time were those spent with her family. She was a kind and generous lady who will be missed terribly by her family and friends,

Charlotte’s funeral will be held Wednesday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:15AM in the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann, 24 Mulberry St. Calling hours will be held from 4PM to 7PM on Tuesday. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
