Carol Marie (Norton) Devlin, 77, of Brookfield and formerly of Charlton, died peacefully Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at UMASS Hospital surrounded by her three daughters.

Carol is reunited with her husband and greatest love Jim who she has been missing since his passing in 2019.  Carol leaves behind her daughters, Christine M. Devlin of Sturbridge, Sharon E. Nutter and her husband Francis of Charlton, and Sandra J. Devlin of Webster; eight grandchildren, Amy, Jody, Kyle, Grace, Gage, Alex, Donovan and Miranda; two great-granddaughters Olive and Georgia and a great-grandson Jackson; her sister, Caron Daly of Worcester, her brother-in-law and his wife Joseph and Elizabeth Devlin of Falmouth. Carol was predeceased by her brother Edward and her sister Ruth.

Carol was born in Worcester, daughter of Edward and Mabel Norton.

Carol was a dedicated mother and wife who found joy in caring for her husband and family.  Together, she and Jim enjoyed shopping trips always looking for a great deal,  Bingo at Our Lady of Fatima, or trips to the bingo hall at the casino. Carol also enjoyed the Red Sox or as she called them the “bums”.

The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at the UMASS University Campus for their care and compassion.

Funeral services will be privately celebrated by the family.
