Carol J. (Blum) Soucy, 81, died peacefully on November 4, 2024. Born to Elmer and Helen, Carol grew up in Holden and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School with honors with the class of 1961.

After a couple of semesters at UNH Carol joined the work-force at Reed Rolled Thread and Die Company. Carol devoted 56 years to the company and met and married her first love, the late Raymond Soucy while working there. Raymond’s life was cut short and Carol carried on. She was an avid skier and talented cake decorator, making cakes for all occasions. She especially enjoyed making elaborate wedding cakes for her friends and family.

In 1988 Carol met the guy that she would spend the rest of her life with. They spent 36 wonderful years together, particularly enjoying dining out with Smitty and Patty and Time at Hampton Beach with friends.

Carol leaves her husband, Bruce Lemay; her considered daughter, Laura Lemay; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Sandra Eckert plus one.
There will be no services per Carol’s request and burial will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
