Subscription Update Obituary

Carol A. (Marston) White Banfill, 82, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 in the Rose Monahan Hospice House.

She leaves her husband of 52 years, Russell F. Banfill; five children, David A. White and his wife, Joan of Worcester, Alexander B. “Lex” White, Jr. and his wife, Donna of Millbury, Keith A. Banfill and his wife, Kerridan of Oxford, Elizabeth A. Daviau and her husband, Jim of Taylor, SC and Brian P. Banfill and his wife, Melissa of Auburn; eight grandchildren, Alycia and William White, Haley, Payton, Morgan, Kyle and Kayla Banfill and Deidre Sepavich; a sister, Shirley Ambrose of Lynnfield; a brother, Robert J. Marston of Sherryll, NY and nieces and nephews. Two siblings, Doris Quigley and Arthur Marston, Jr. predeceased her. She was born in Lynn, daughter of Arthur H. and Myrtle A. (Taylor) Marston and graduated from Lynn English High School and attended Officer’s Training School for the Salvation Army.

Carol was a medical transcriptionist working at Fallon Clinic and a nurse’s aide for various nursing homes, prior to that she was an Officer at the Salvation Army in Worcester. She enjoyed sewing in her spare time.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, September 14th at Worcester County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
