Fant, 76, a resident of Auburn, Massachusetts, for more than 40 years, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, an employee for 34 years Heald Machine Company in Worcester, Massachusetts, before his retirement in 1984, died at University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare – Memorial Campus on Friday, April 5, 2002, following a short illness.
