Subscription Update Obituary

The memorial service for Reverend Bonnie Lynn Tardif, 49 of 13019 US Route 11, Adams Center, will be in the chapel of TLC Funeral Home, Inc. at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Calling hours will be prior to the service from 2-4 p.m. Mrs. Tardif passed away at the Ellis Hospital in Schenectady on October 15, 2013.

She was born in Worchester, Massachusetts on April 28, 1964 the daughter of Robert E. and Shirley M. Lynn Benoit. She graduated from Wareham High School and would further her education at Oswego State College where she received her masters degree in mental health counseling. She was working on her doctoral degree in clinical psycology thru Capella University.

She married Leonidas Tardif, Jr. on October 2, 1998 in Adams Center. Mrs. Tardif was a licensed mental health counselor and owner of BT Counseling Services in Watertown and also was adjunct professor at Jefferson Community College where she taught psychology and sociology.

She was a member of the motorcycle groups BOBs. She also enjoyed riding horses, reading and spending time with her three dogs and two cats.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the Watertown Veteran Center, 210 Court Street, Watertown, New York 13601.

Surviving are her husband, Leonidas, her mother Shirley Reaid of Adams Center, her father Robert Benoit, Sr. of Boston, Massachusetts, her three sons Michael Keelor of Adams Center, Ian Keelor of Columbia, SC and Airman First Class Scott Keelor of South Dakota, her two stepsons Zachariah Tardif of Lewistown, Maine and SPC Benjamin Tardif of Fort Campbell, KY, her brother William Benoit of Adams Center, three grandchildren and a nephew.
