Subscription Update Obituary

Beverly J. (Hart) West, 83, passed away at home on November 11, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She leaves 5 daughters- Linda A. Brady, Kathy A. Walker, Terri Ann Reed, Diane M. Bickley, and Susan M. Pratt; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and her sister Patricia A. Cyr. She was predeceased by her husband Melvin D. West and by her sister Charlotte L. Hart.

Beverly was born in Bangor, Maine, daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (Ames) Hart. She attended Bangor High School and worked for many years as a CNA in the Maternity ward of Hahnemann Hospital, as well as in the Emergency Room at the Memorial campus of UMMC. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Worcester and the Holden Sr. Center. She enjoyed doing puzzles, going to yard sales and birds. She also fostered many babies over the years for Catholic Charities.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beverly’s memory may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene 146 Burncoat St. Worcester, MA 01605.
