Subscription Update Obituary

     Bernard “Benny” Lempicki, 87, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Benny leaves his loving wife of 66 years, Marilyn (Cook) Lempicki; his son, Bernard A. Lempicki and his wife Gail of Leicester; three grandchildren, Keith A. Lempicki and his wife Michelle of Auburn, Tracy Bombard and her husband Glen of Charlton and Jill Egan and her husband Joshua of Auburn; three great grandchildren, Cameron Egan, Sarah Lempicki and Ryan Lempicki; two brothers, Paul Lempicki of Biddeford, ME and Rudolph Lempicki of Alabama; two sisters, Mae Houston of Florida and Sophie Kosky of Millbury; nieces and nephews. Benny’s brother, Edward Lempicki and sister, Gladys Damik predeceased him.

Bernard was born in Worcester the son of Walter and Josephine (Folicka) Lempicki and graduated from Worcester Boy’s Trade School. Benny served proudly with the U.S. Navy in WW II and the Korean War. Benny worked for 30 years for VisiMark (formerly Worcester Stamp) before retiring. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Joel H. Prouty Lodge of Masons in Auburn. He was a former member of the Singletary Rod & Gun Club in Oxford. Benny loved to fish and hunt with his son. Benny loved family vacations down the Cape. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visiting hours for Benny will be held on Friday, March 7th from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Pakachoag Church, 203 Pakachoag St., Auburn. Funeral Services and burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pakachoag Church, 203 Pakachoag St., Auburn, MA 01501 or the American Cancer Society , 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Arrangements are in the care of LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St., Worcester.
