Subscription Update Obituary

Barbara Belle (Chase) Wrin, age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center. She was born in Holden, the daughter of Lewis and Pearl (Remiley) Chase.

She leaves her son, Edward L. Wrin of Jefferson. She was predeceased by her loving husband, John J. Wrin in 2006.

Barbara graduated from Holden High School and Becker College with High Honors in the medical field. She worked at the Holden Clinic for years and later for Dr. Leroy Mayo. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Holden, the Holden Grange and the Worcester Pomona Grange.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Barbara’s family from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, May 5th, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
