Barbara A. (Shea) Stukowski, 79, died peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Agawam. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Harold F. and Germaine A. (Gingras) Shea and lived in Worcester for most of her life until relocating to Lee in recent years.
Throughout Barbara’s life she was devoted to her faith and her family and was guided by the Holy Spirit to help others. She married her beloved husband, the late Edward G. Stukowski and settled in Worcester where they raised their family. Barbara spent many years making a wonderful home and attending to her family’s needs and supporting their endeavors. She was an active member of the Liberty Assembly of God Church in Shrewsbury where she was quick to volunteer her services wherever she was needed. Barbara loved organizing family parties and gatherings and left her loved ones with many beautiful memories of these events. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Edward G. Stukowski in 2015. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her daughters, Deborah Casey and her husband, Michael of Lee and Sandra Robinson of Wales; her brothers, Harold Shea and his wife, Ethel of CA, Francis Shea and his wife, Anne of Hubbardston, Gerald Shea and his wife, Rita of Worcester and James Shea of GA; her sister, Peggy Bulat and her husband, George of Chelmsford; her grandchildren, Tyler and Anthony Chiarvalloti, Austin Ryan, Kaitlynn, MacKenzie and Isabella Chiarvalloti and Lauren Ryan; her great-grandchildren, Jason and Harper Chiarvalloti and Xæiu Ryan; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service honoring and celebrating Barbara’s life at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will be private.
