Subscription Update Obituary

    Arthur Gamble, 80, of 1 Elton St., died yesterday in his home.  Mr. Gamble was a pattern maker at Crompton & Knowles Corp. for 30 years, retiring 15 years ago. 


    Born in Birmingham, England, he was a son of William and Sara A. (Pritchard) Gamble, and lived in Worcester 60 years.  He leaves his widow, Lilla M. (Cummings) Gamble; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Lucier of Fort Pierce, Fla.; two sisters, Elizabeth, wife of George Lynch of Auburn and Mrs. Edith Jones of Providence, R.I.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 


    Private funeral services will be held today at 11 am in L. Paul Courchesne Funeral Home, 82 Plantation St.  The Rev. Kenneth E. Bath will officiate.  Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  The family requests flowers be omitted.
