Subscription Update Obituary

Arthur E. Levesque,84, of Leicester, died Thursday, Feb. 27th in Holden Rehab & Nursing Center.

He was the husband of Sandra (Mallozzi) Levesque who died in 2023, his first wife, Mary E. (Young) Levesque died in 2012. He leaves his son; David A. Levesque and his wife Lia Thomas of Dallas, TX and his daughter; Karen Knox and her husband Jake of Paxton, grandchildren; Makayla, Lilah & Zoe, a brother; Bernard Levesque of Methuen and a sister; Theresa Waters of Ocala, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son; Donald Levesque in 1976, and his sister; Marie Levesque in 2002. 

Arthur was born in Methuen, the son of Arthur A. and Lillian (Bracelet) Levesque. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from UMASS Amherst in 1970. Arthur was the Director of the Council on Aging in Leicester and then in Lancaster. Prior to those positions, he also worked at Table Talk Pie at one time. Arthur was a longtime member of Christ Episcopal Church in Rochdale, was a former Boy Scout Leader for Troop 126 in Leicester and served on the board of the Cherry Valley Water District. He also loved going to yard sales and collecting antiques. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Wed. March 12th at 11 a.m.in Christ Episcopal Church, 1089 Stafford St., Rochdale. Family & friends are asked to go directly to church. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, Mar. 11th. from 5 to 7p.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 142, Rochdale, MA 01542.
