Subscription Update Obituary

    Anthony S. Giaquinto, 59, son of Anthony J. and Josephine (Magro) Giaquinto of Auburn, died Thanksgiving Day surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Worcester, where he spent many years before moving to Oakham.

    He is survived by his wife and best friend, AnnMarie Martone-Giaquinto; his 4 children, Stacia Giaquinto and fiancee Jake Day, Nicole Giaquinto and fiancee Adam Tolman, Sean-Michael Giaquinto and his wife Donna, and Justin Giaquinto. His beloved grandchildren, Ravyn, Jake-Anthony, and Adam. He is also survived by a brother, Paul Giaquinto and his wife Jana of Maine. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    Tony was a proud Veteran. He served his country as a Special Forces Marine in the Vietnam War, where he earned 2 Purple Hearts.

    Tony was an entrepreneur of many family involved businesses, and ran his family founded business, Broms Academy for many years.

    He enjoyed spending winters in Florida with his wife, grandchildren, family, and friends. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a member of The Nam Knights of America, Band of Brothers Chapter of Massachusetts.

    In lieu of flowers, the family and friends strongly encourages people to become organ donors.

    Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 4-7PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, Rte. 9/Old West Brookfield Rd., Brookfield. The funeral for Tony will be held on Wednesday at 10:00AM in St. Josephs Church, 296 Main St., North Brookfield. Burial will follow with military honors in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
