Subscription Update Obituary

Anthony C. “Tony” O’Malley, 87, formerly of Upland Road, died peacefully Tuesday evening, June 30, 2020, at The Oasis at Dodge Park in Worcester.
His wife of 60 years, Mary M. (McGovern) O’Malley, died December 9, 2017.

He leaves his sister, Ann M. O’Malley of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews. Three sisters, Alice F. Jacobs, Kathleen J. O’Malley, Mary J. Johnson, and his brother, Richard P. O’Malley, all predeceased him. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late Anthony C. and Kathleen J. (Brennan) O’Malley, graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School and was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Tony worked at Jamesbury Corporation in Worcester for 29 years until he retired in 1995. He previously worked at Rockwood Sprinkler for 15 years. He was a long-time member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Worcester. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

The family would like to express their most sincere appreciation to the Staff and Management of The Oasis at Dodge Park for the outstanding care they provided for Tony.

A CALLING HOUR will be held in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St., Worcester, from 9 to 10 A.M. on MONDAY, JULY 6th, followed by a FUNERAL SERVICE at 10 A.M., in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
