Anita M. Poulin, 70, of Charlton died Wednesday, September 25th at home surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. She leaves her husband of 36 years, Luc G. Poulin; their children Jason M. Guyotte of Charlton, Jacob J. Poulin and his wife, Caren of Auburn, Joshua J. Guyotte and his fiancé, Kimberly Zaccagnini of Lunenberg, Andrew J. Delisio and his girlfriend, Michelle Calouro of Seekonk, and Robert P. Delisio of Worcester; her sister, Radmila Erickson and her husband, Calvin of California; ten grandchildren, Matthew Guyotte, Annie Gervais, Gavin Guyotte, Kylie Delisio, Natalie Delisio, Alex Delisio, Oliver Guyotte, Jack Delisio, Avery Delisio and Ethan Delisio; many nieces, nephews and extended family. She also leaves her two best friends, Elizabeth Maisonet and Janet Bergman. She was predeceased by two siblings, Lisa and Eddy and best friend, Debbie Delisio.

Born in Worcester, she was a proud graduate of South High School and Worcester State University. She was a former member of St. Joseph’s Church.

Anita’s professional life was marked by her passion for helping others. She owned and operated KidsOT Inc. for over 38 years, working as a pediatric occupational therapist. Her clients were more than just patients—they were her passion. She found immense joy in helping children with special needs thrive, and her work left a lasting impact on countless families.

From a young age, Anita’s love of dance filled her life. She excelled in ballet, tap, and jazz, and in her later years, she found joy in ballroom dancing. Anita also cherished spending time with her friends, particularly enjoying shopping trips.

In her free time, Anita loved the outdoors and embraced hobbies such as camping, gardening, sewing, and crafts. She had a sense of adventure, often embarking on road trips, exploring new places.

Above all, Anita treasured time with her family. She especially loved hosting holidays, bringing everyone together to create beautiful memories. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her loved ones will be forever cherished.

Anita’s life was a testament to love, service, and joy, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her funeral is Tuesday, October 1st with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. in St. Joseph’s Church, 10 H Putnam Rd Extension, Charlton with a visitation period beginning at 10:30 A.M. (PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO CHURCH). Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, September 30th from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester.
