Subscription Update Obituary

     Andrea Assunta Tsikas-Hampton, “Mumzie” 75 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on October 04, 2015, surrounded by her family.

Daughter of WWII Veteran Andimo G. Robbio and Maria; Andrea leaves behind her children; Robert E. Robbio; Annalisa M. LeBlanc and her husband Charles of Worcester, MA; Jamie R. Avalla of Phoenix, AZ; Lori Kroh of Enfield, CT; Maria Elena Tsikas and her companion Michael Skebe; Dimitrios P Tsikas of Washington, MO.

She was a loving grandmother to Paul G. Gardner of Stamford, CT; Brett J Kroh of Madison, CT and US Air force Airman Kyle A. Kroh stationed in Clovis, NM with his wife Sarah and great granddaughter Melanie.

Sister to Michael R. DiGeronimo Jr. and Carlene M. LeBlanc of Worcester and long time friend to Barbara Booth of Auburn, MA.

Andrea’s love of travel took her to Seoul Korea, Peru, Turkey and London to name a few. Her love of travel included residing in Durham, NC where she loved to dance and entertain with her Tarot Card readings. While in Durham, her favorite place to walk was through the Gardens at Duke University. She spent seven years in Kailua-Kona, where she worked as an art consultant at The Pacific Art gallery overlooking the ocean of Hawaii.

Formally employed at Rotman’s as an interior designer; one of her greatest accomplishments was designing for Frank Sinatra and Mantovani. Her love of music ranged from Pavarotti to the Latin sounds of Cuba

Andrea will be laid to rest beside her beloved son Paul D. Tsikas III at the Paxton Memorial Cemetery. There will be a private service for family and close friends with no funeral or calling hours.

The family would like to thank Holy Trinity Nursing and Rose Monahan Hospice House for their loving support and care. In lieu of flowers or donations, please take a moment to remember… Andrea.
