Subscription Update Obituary

     Allen J. Spangenberg, Jr., 74, of Worcester passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, surrounded by family. He is survived by his mother, Olive (Morin) Rabidou of Holden MA; sons, Jason Spangenberg & wife Jenn of North Brookfield, MA, and Stacy Spangenberg of Everett, WA; daughters, Donna LaPlume & husband Donald of East Thetford, VT, Sheri Spangenberg of Haverhill, MA, Corrina Joel & husband Todd of Ocean Shores, WA, Sheila Rupe & husband Dane of Everett, WA; a brother Ronald Rabidou of Bennington,VT; sisters, Paula Mercurio of West Boylston, MA, and Susan Marchand of Worcester, MA; fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his father, Allen J. Spangenberg, Sr.
Allen was educated in Auburn schools and worked as a driver for AMR Ambulance Service. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the US Army. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, enjoyed walking outdoors and playing & teaching chess. He was an avid Bruins fan and loved watching the Bruins and New England Patriots games. He also enjoyed learning different languages.
