Alice A. (Kaloostian) LaFleur, 78, of Worcester, died Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Holy Trinity Nursing Center.
Her husband of 10 years, William LaFleur, died in 1978. For Alice, it was a very lonely walk without Bill. She was most grateful for the many friends who stuck by her through the good and bad times.
Alice was born in Worcester on June 19, 1937, daughter of Peter and Mary (Harootunian) Kaloostian. She lived in Worcester all her life.
Alice’s brother, Martin Kaloostian, died in 2003. She leaves her sister-in-law, Tomoko Kaloostian of Worcester, and also cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Alice was an avid follower of the Boston Red Sox and was a devoted fan of her favorite pitcher, Pedro Martinez.
There will be a calling hour at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 19, at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester, followed by a funeral service in the church at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour.
The Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, is directing funeral arrangements.
