Subscription Update Obituary

Alden F. Erickson, 84 of Fairview Drive, died Sunday, Feb. 8 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

He leaves his wife of 59 years, Jane Ann (Murray) Erickson, two sons Steven A. Erickson and his wife Karen of Dudley and Brett A. Erickson of Charlton, three daughters Diann B. Howe and her husband Kevin of Leicester, Roxann L. Johnson and her husband Gary of Holden and Juliann E. Erickson of Worcester, his brother Carl Erickson of Grafton, 11 grandchildren; Diann Hall, Kelly Daly , Nathan Howe, Matthew Howe, Ariann Zafft, Travis Johnson, Molly Johnson, Steven Erickson, Jordan Erickson, Avery Erickson and Ashley Erickson,12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a daughter Suzann Broomfield in 1999 and his brother Albert Erickson.

Alden was a longtime builder and owner of Alden F. Erickson Builders in Leicester.

Born in Marlborough, he was the son of Albert and Edna (Flint) Erickson and later served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an avid snowmobiler and past President of the Snowmobiler Association of Mass, as well as a member of the Sterling Snow Blazers and Spencer & Leicester Snowmobile Clubs.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will be at a later date in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to the Leicester Ambulance Fund, 3 Washburn Sq., Leicester 01524.
